1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Go Live Command (“we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar storage technologies on golivecommand.com and within the authenticated platform. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
On your first visit we show a banner with two choices: Allow all, or Essential only. Your decision is stored in a 1-year cookie (and in localStorage where available) and posted to your account record once you sign in.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include the session cookie that keeps you signed in, the CSRF protection token, the consent record itself, and a small theme/density preference cookie that prevents a visual flash on page load.
If you disable cookies in your browser, you will be signed out and the consent banner will reappear.
3. Analytics cookies (you can decline)
If you choose Allow all, we record aggregated, no-PHI product usage — page views, feature usage counts, error rates — so we can find bugs and prioritize features. We do not run third-party advertising cookies, we do not build user profiles, and we do not sell personal data.
If you choose Essential only, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics events are recorded for your browser session.
4. What we do NOT do
We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not sell personal data. We do not share cookie data with brokers or social networks. There are no marketing-attribution pixels active today.
5. Authenticated session cookies
When you sign in, an HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax session cookie is set. It carries a signed session token and lasts the duration of your session. It is independent of the consent banner — without it, the platform cannot keep you signed in.
A separate CSRF token cookie is set on each authenticated request to protect against cross-site request forgery.
6. Managing your choices
To re-open the consent banner and change your decision, clear the cookies-and-site-data for golivecommand.com in your browser settings; the banner will reappear on the next page load.
Where required by law (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), our banner defaults to no analytics until you affirmatively click Allow all.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and on the marketing site, and we will refresh the “last updated” date.
